Empowering Your Academic and Personal Growth
Welcome to the Student Success Center at Mongoose University! We are dedicated to supporting your journey toward academic excellence, personal development, and career readiness. Our comprehensive services and programs are designed to enhance your university experience, ensuring you have the tools and resources to succeed during your time here and beyond.
Academic Advising
Every Mongoose University student is assigned a dedicated academic advisor in their major department. Advisors help you plan your course schedule, stay on track for graduation, explore minors and double majors, and navigate academic challenges.
- Frequency: Meet with your advisor at least once per semester before registration. An advising hold is placed on your account until your meeting is completed.
- Exploratory Advising: Undeclared students work with the Exploratory Advising Center (Student Center, Room 200) to discover their interests through career assessments, course sampling, and major exploration workshops.
- How to schedule: Book through MyMongoose under “Advising” or contact your department directly.
- Advisor change: Request through the Registrar’s Office if you change your major.
