Merit Scholarships
Presidential Scholarship: Full tuition (GPA 3.9+, SAT 1450+)
Dean’s Scholarship: $15,000/year (GPA 3.7+, SAT 1350+)
Provost Scholarship: $10,000/year (GPA 3.5+, SAT 1250+)
Mongoose Achievement Award: $6,000/year (GPA 3.3+, SAT 1150+)
All renewable for 4 years with 3.0 GPA maintenance. Start your Admissions application to be considered for merit scholarships automatically.
Need-Based Aid & Grants
Mongoose University Grant: Up to $20,000/year based on demonstrated need
Federal Pell Grant: Up to $7,395/year
Federal SEOG: $100-$4,000/year
State Grants: Varies by residency

Legacy Scholarship: $2,500/year for alumni families
Transfer Excellence Award: $8,000/year (3.5+ transfer GPA)

Fine Arts Scholarship: $3,000-$12,000 (portfolio required)

Applying for Financial Aid
Securing your financial aid is a straightforward five-step process. Our financial aid office is committed to helping you navigate every stage.
Step 1: Complete the FAFSA starting October 1. Use School Code MONG12.
Step 2: Submit the CSS Profile if applying for institutional grants exceeding $10,000.
Step 3: Review your financial aid award letter, sent within 2-3 weeks of acceptance notification.
Step 4: Accept or decline awards through your MyMongoose student portal.
Step 5: Complete entrance counseling and sign the Master Promissory Note (MPN) for any loan funds.
Important Deadlines: Priority deadline: February 1. Final deadline: June 1.

Payment Plans & Options
Mongoose University partners with Mongoose Payment Solutions to offer flexible monthly payment plans, spreading your costs throughout the year without additional interest charges. We also coordinate employer tuition reimbursement programs and welcome inquiries about alternative funding sources.
Veterans & Military Benefits
Mongoose University is a Yellow Ribbon Program participant and welcomes veterans and active-duty service members. We work directly with the VA to process GI Bill benefits and support military-connected students with dedicated resources and advising.
